10 best tips for those who want to study for one of the five!

All ingenious is simple, as they say.

Do you mind if we bring a little linguistics to your life right now? Look, the word "excellent student" means the following: "A student who has the highest rating of knowledge, a mark of" excellent "." This is according to Ushakov. And such a definition, that is, a description of direct meaning, is called denotation.

And there is another connotation - this is the accompanying meaning of the word. It is necessary to express, for example, the emotional connotations of a statement. So the word "excellent student" has a negative connotation - "nerd." With all the attributes we know.

But we, as always, are for the positive. And we think that being an excellent student is really cool. Because excellent students:

  • smart
  • educated
  • can support conversation not only about series,
  • will go to a good university,
  • have a kind of immunity at school.

And contrary to stupid stereotypes, they can look their best. Remember the "nerd" El Woods - what is not an example to follow?

The most interesting thing was that she studied only for one five. Studying well doesn’t mean just getting one five. Not everyone is studying at the top five. Yes, to learn at the top five, you need talent. Learn to learn. We all have to learn something. Therefore, if, of course, you really want to start studying for the fives alone, you must constantly ask “why.”

Be practical in terms of study. Work in the classroom. Be organized. Learn and do homework in parts. Write down everything important there, in particular - homework exercises, etc. By the way, you need to record at the moment when the teacher dictates it, and not later. If you hear that you will soon have a milestone - write down the date to prepare.

Be careful - and study will be given much easier, because you will better understand the subject. True! No one can know everything, there is nothing wrong with the fact that you do not understand something. Your teacher, for example, knows this very well and will be happy to help. By the way, it will be useful and just like that, as part of the overall development.

How to become an excellent student at school?

Analyze this relationship and learn how to work better with information. This is a must and important point. Do your homework even if you don’t check it. The deeper you dive into the subject, the better. Homework is designed to help you consolidate what you have learned, so ... If you haven’t asked anything at home, read the textbook.

If you start doing your homework in advance, this will give you time to ask the teacher questions that arise during the course of work, and this is already a direct path to the top five. Do your homework in a designated place. You need a table, a minimum of irritants, and an understanding that learning is a habit. It doesn’t matter on the web or in the library - read books about what you learn. The more you learn, the better your grades will be.

If there is a problem with this, search the web for tips. Yes, sometimes literally everything bothers us: a building is outside the window, the TV is yelling, relatives are yelling, noise, din ... Nevertheless, learn to overcome this and concentrate. Sometimes you just need to understand that to achieve complete success in something, it may be difficult for you.

Whatever the teacher asked, this girl always knew the answer. She never made a single mistake. And then one day there was a lesson in natural science in their school in the third quarter. And one boy quietly hid behind the closet, he wanted to eavesdrop on what the teacher with this Light would talk about. The boy’s face burned out, and now he goes to school in a mask. Now in the mask of a monkey, then in the mask of Spider-Man.

Ask a lot of questions - get a lot of answers - expand your horizons and one day you will understand the material that has not yet been passed! Use the knowledge of other people. Not in the sense of “write off,” no. We mean something else! Ask for advice and tips from friends, adults, teachers, learn how others solved this or that problem.

Carefully and thoroughly do your homework without leaving anything “for later”. This approach will not only simplify life, but will help in learning. Suppose, on weekends, do part of the tasks on Saturday, some on Sunday. Do not forget, however, to study those subjects that you will need if not at all in the future, then at least for admission. Try and don't give up! Never give up, work and you will succeed.

Step-by-step instruction on how to study for one five

In this article, you will learn how to study for one five and not do anything.

I, Bruce Likes, a popular video blogger and author of this site, will tell you about five life hacks that work 100 percent.

How to study perfectly: instruction.

  • The teacher needs to be liked, that is, become a favorite. No matter how strange it is, if the teacher likes the student, he does not try to overwhelm him in exams, tests. What needs to be done to like the teacher? Try to ask more questions in the lesson, to show that you are interested in the lesson. Suggest any ideas on the topic of the lesson. If the teacher sees that the student is interested in the subject, he will always go to the meeting, give the task easier, and tighten the grade. And also at teacher meetings will notice the positive mood of such a student. Accordingly, this will lead to the fact that other teachers will be positively inclined towards this student.
  • Even if the subject does not like at all, and accordingly the teacher, since he requires to learn the rules by heart, etc. etc. Such a teacher must make compliments. For example: How interesting you are! After your lessons, I wake up an interest in a subject that might seem like another ordinary school routine. You have so many interesting school books and tables in the classroom. I want to learn right away. Very comfortable class. You do so much for our class! Teach us. Everyone should try to learn better. You need to give the “Teacher of the Year” Award!
  • To do essays. The best way to tighten grades on the subject is to ask the teacher to give you the task of making an essay. The abstract allows you not to study the subject, but simply beautifully rewrite the desired topic and arrange it. Teachers are positive about this method and are happy to give students abstracts. If you want to get five, at least you need to rewrite 5 sheets and draw a few drawings. In general, the abstract should be such that the teacher AHNUL! Then the five is provided.
  • Active social work helps to tighten grades to five. This is Watch, participation in events and celebrations, sporting events, drawing posters, etc., etc. When teachers see that the student is immersed in some kind of school activity, they understand that you do not have time to carefully work on the lessons. Therefore, when an opportunity is given somewhere to take part in school activities and amateur activities, be sure to call.
  • Try to visit the school library more often. Information that you often sit in the library and take books in mathematics or physics will quickly reach teachers in these subjects. Of course, you do not need to sit in the library and read these books. You can quietly hide in a corner and tinker with your smartphone. The main thing here is to create the necessary impression about yourself. Teachers have a positive attitude towards such actions of students and increase their grades if they see that the student is interested in their subject outside of class.

Follow these recommendations and you will notice that instead of triples you started to put fours, and instead of fours - fives. From personal experience

I am a tutor, and no matter what students I come across in my life. If the question concerns elementary school and grades 5-6, then most often parents come with problem children. It is logical: after all, excellent students, in fact, do not need a tutor. Problems can be of a very different nature: from simple spoiling and restlessness of a child to delays in speech development, dysgraphia and dyslexia.

Very often there are bilingual children for whom the Russian language is not native, therefore it is more difficult to master it. But sometimes parents bring a child who is quite successful in their studies. Usually these are moms and dads who are trying their best to turn a son or daughter into an excellent pupil.

I will give an example. New student. End of grade 4. 10-11 years old. I come to the first lesson. Parents make terrible eyes and say: “Our dunce is completely hopeless, knows nothing, knows nothing. Well, you see: can you handle it ?! ”I already imagined all kinds of problems in my head, which I most often encounter in children of this age.

We begin the lesson. The boy knows everything, does everything. Not perfect, of course, and forgot something, but quite a solid four. She thinks quickly, smart, capable, but somewhat inattentive. Such a normal boy.

I’m leaving the lesson. Parents run to me: “Well, how? Absolutely hopeless? ”Why, I say, a very capable boy. He knows everything. Forgets something, but quickly grasps. And here dad says to me a masterpiece phrase: “Well, we know that our boy knows Russian well. We have no problems with this. He just does not want to learn: he still has childhood in his head. Some phones and computers. We want you to make your child want to study well. ”

There is no secret here. There is no magic wand, spell or conspiracy to study well. Every psychologist will tell you this. It’s just that puberty begins to sneak up on your child.

And if we take into account that the transitional age in modern children begins earlier and earlier, it is not surprising that by the end of grade 4 the first signs of the onset of a “dangerous age” begin to appear in children. Interest in learning is declining, but there is an urgent need to spend more time with peers.

We will return to the question of puberty a bit later. In the meantime, we will answer another question: can any child be an excellent student?

Distinguished by nature - anal-visual babies. Due to the special natural properties, such children are flexible, obedient, assiduous, attentive, painstaking, drawn to knowledge. They love praise, love to read books, love to learn.

Learning for normally developing anal-visual children is always a joy. The main thing is that the teacher in the elementary grades should be adequate: not to push or intimidate. Such children without special problems will receive the first creditable letter, then a gold medal and a red diploma to your joy. The truth is, they often have problems with algebra and geometry: how to study well in mathematics, if you have an anal vector (and there is no skin vector) - that’s also a “task!

In terms of study, anal sound engineers are a little more complicated. And without that a slow anal vector paired with an eternally pensive sound create a hellish mixture. It is difficult for such guys to concentrate, it is difficult to react quickly. And if the teacher at the school yells, then that's all: extinguish the light - throw a grenade. It will be closed in itself and will wave at all estimates.

It is worth adding that the sound and visual vectors are an excellent potential for good study. But without the anal vector it’s difficult to be a “round excellent student”, because there will be an acute shortage of some qualities important for impeccable study.

Children with a skin vector suffer from a lack of perseverance and the ability to bring everything to the end. They like to do everything quickly, tyap-blunder, therefore, due to inattention, they make a lot of mistakes. Although, of course, in mathematics such guys often fumble for one or two! If a child has dermal from the lower vectors, and vision or sound from the upper ones, then he can study quite decently, practically by one five. They say about such people: capable students, but not enough attention.

Children with a urethral vector are always very visible and very capable (especially in the presence of sound and visual vectors). But do you keep the urethral at the desk? Maybe in elementary grades he will show you good results, but as soon as puberty comes, write it is gone.

Other children (muscle, for example) will never become excellent students: there is no natural data for this. You can take such a child to tutors as much as you like, assign him to the best schools, lyceums, but he will not shine with knowledge. You only spoil the nerves of the child and yourself.

So, from the above it follows that to become an excellent student is not very difficult if there is an appropriate set of vectors. “But why then,” you say, “in a class there are usually only two or three excellent students, and the rest are all gibberish?”

If you recall, in the first grade, very many children study "perfectly". At the age of 7-8 years old children, gaping their mouths, listen to their beloved skin-visual teacher. They are interested in learning new things, they want to get good grades ... But the older the children become, the more their desire to learn begins to fade into the background more and more.

Problems of adolescence make themselves felt. Before my eyes, the former third-grader, who once madly liked to divide giant numbers in a column, grew up and cooled down to study. She began to worry more and more about discos, boys, make-up and other "adult" things. Social adaptation among peer children has come to the fore and has become a major shortage and, as a result, an end in itself.

The fact is that the time of transitional age in children is the time when each person undergoes the so-called "ranking". The subsequent life of a teenager largely depends on puberty: will he become a leader or will he take the place of an outcast?

During puberty in children, as they say, demolishes the "roof": the upper vectors give way to the lower palm. It is not surprising that during adolescence, many adolescents behave like animals in a pack: they are animals to some extent.

So, the upper vectors, due to which the child studied well in the first or second grade, go by the wayside. That is why the craving for school is reduced: study distracts from the social adaptation of children, ranking. Estimates are rapidly falling. Only a few manage to "stay" afloat.

Remember how often already grown-up “children without childhood”, dragged to the point of exhaustion in circles, at the age of 17-18 (when all their peers have already passed the transitional age), suddenly getting rid of the pressure of their parents and school, begin to behave like belated teenagers, while going to extremes: so nature is trying to catch up.

So, we have found an explanation of why, with the onset of adolescence, children lose their desire to learn. Nature forces us to undergo socialization among peers so that in the future we will be able to realize ourselves normally in an adult “flock”. Often, the anal-visual parents, of course, suffer most from the fact that their son or daughter "slipped into triples."

We are used to evaluating everything through ourselves: since I loved to study and got fives, it means that my son can do the same. That is why we cease to understand our child: we do not want to accept him and listen to his shortages. We need fives. And we carefully forget that our bloodlet may suffer because of our pressure. Or we hammer. We are looking for someone to "make the child want to study well."

It is important to develop the child comprehensively so that the time of puberty is passed as painlessly as possible for yourself and for you. And to make a person interested in something is unrealistic. You need to understand the natural vector inclinations of your child, the circle of his interests and opportunities.

This all, of course, does not mean at all that our son or daughter should not study at all, but only, like monkeys, climb trees. Not. You just need to remember: knowledge and evaluation are not the same thing. If we see that the child does not understand something or does not know something, help is needed.

But if everything is in order, and the problem of poor grades in the natural inclinations of our "genius", then it remains only to shrug our hands: if we are not lucky in learning, it means that we are lucky in something else.

Is it worth learning “excellent”?

How to become successful and wealthy in life? Now it’s fashionable to learn: kids are two more from the pot, and now there are circles, sections, additional classes in foreign languages, preparatory courses for school ... “Your excellent study is your contribution to a prosperous future,” says the mother, dragging the stubborn preschooler into English.

And, pointing to a homeless person rummaging in a garbage can, he summarizes: “So he did not want to study. Do you also want to become like that? ” Study ascends to a cult. And to this cult everything is thrown under your feet: free time, nerves, tears and ... childhood.

And indeed, how could one not rejoice and not feel happy when, from early childhood, on all sides, everyone kept repeating: “You will study at the top five, you will have everything in life.” But life is surprisingly strange. And not clear. Another at this time did not "soar" over the books. Throwing his briefcase away after the last lesson, he fled to where his friends, football, volleyball, hiking in the woods and the river were waiting for him - this replaced him with boring cramming.

Why? Because he was so motivated by his parents. “An excellent certificate will open the way for you to prosperity and happiness!” This life credo of the older generation has become a way of life for so many who now already have children. And yet, he has life experience. Your own. Alas, very, very far from this obsessive credo.

Now I “stand on the other side” and convince my son not to repeat the mistakes of former honors students who put the true skills of the master of their own fate on the altar of grading assessments. And that's why.

Not one employer has ever asked what color my certificate and diploma are.

How does an employer get to know job candidates and evaluate them? Does everyone meet in person? Not. There is a resume for this. Here are just a single resume for a single job - from the loader to the project manager - for some reason, there is no column "Achievement". And what is mandatory? Experience! The same sports achievements and skills in different fields of activity - and all this is included in the resume, as a rule - but not marks in the certificate, are of real importance for a positive decision.

Our memory is so arranged that it has long been "freed" from all this heap of scientific theories, hypotheses, and "surrendered" disciplines.

Practice and real work instantly put everything in its place. That is life priorities. All those jagged science in the pre-examination nights and the very next day driven into the depths of memory, were simply not in demand. In a matter of weeks of practice, I had to master professional skills first and seriously.

Did it take so many years to suffer and worry about grades on “dead” knowledge? Why do I need in my life today non-existent Latin, Bulgarian and Old Slavonic? Life itself indicated the obviousness of the answer.

Again, real life and a real work plan set the priorities in the ranking. As it turned out, after university, that health, not numbers in the certificate, was at the forefront of professional and life achievements. But you had to stay awake for days. Do not eat up. Nervous to hiccups and colic. Lose weight, or, conversely, dramatically gain weight. That is, in fact, purposefully, with their own hands, to ruin their health. And all because of what?

Permanent study is permanent solitude. Lack of communication skills can be fatal.

I had a fellow student. The soul of the company, a winder, a joker and a merry fellow. He was always at the center of the team - and at the table, and during breaks between lectures, and in the smoking room, and in the gym. I just barely studied. But it was “pink,” fresh and dynamic. All the excellent students treated him down. Weak threesome, what awaits him? And he was waiting for his wide network of personal acquaintances - something that was missed by me, which subsequently easily helped resolve issues in business and in career growth.

After many years, it has already become clear that business and career are, first of all, relationships between people. And not at all marks in the test score. And study is the best time for steady acquaintances. Should I miss such an invaluable chance?

From the point of view of professionalism, it was not the university that taught all the most valuable, but the motivation for solving productive tasks.

The most striking, common and illustrative example of this is a foreign language. How much do we teach him, or rather, torture him? Together with the school - years 13-15! So what? Never mind. But when it was needed to increase career growth, which, of course, entails a salary, perfectly mastering a foreign one, it took not many more than a year.

And it helped me a lot to communicate with new friends - native speakers - when at one time I became interested in online games. Motivation, not moral satisfaction from the five, is a stimulant for the effective mastery of new knowledge and skills. Now I know English almost perfectly.

Based on this, I give such advice to my children. And let those parents for whom excellent marks are the only indicator of the success of a son or daughter throw me rotten tomatoes.

  • The difference between “4” and “5” is not worth the titanic effort, because it does not affect absolutely anything.
  • A personal bank account is made up of real professional skills, and not from the list of grades on exams.
  • Sociability and personal connections, and not a red diploma at all, will provide you with career and material advantages.
  • At the forefront should be the motivated meaning of their own actions, and not the desire to cater to the desires of those around them.

The opinion of the psychologist Marianne VINOKUROVA:

If parents tend to attach great importance to any assessment of the child, he may have the feeling that he is loved only for good marks, if he gets a bad mark, his parents will no longer love him. The child grows up anxious, he is afraid of even minimal failures, he will have low self-esteem, he will never be able to truly enjoy his achievements.

Also, the child can learn the attitude of parents that how he learns, so will his future life. If a child is learning poorly, then he can decide that he is already unable to change anything, he does not shine anything. If he studies “perfectly”, then in the future even a small setback can be a shock for him, and he may not be prepared for it - after all, he was the best student, he graduated from high school with only five — and suddenly a setback ...

And in this case, the main thing is that adults themselves should not be so unequivocal about school performance, understand that the school develops some basic skills that will be necessary in the future, and one of these skills is the ability to achieve social success (good grade) and cope with those situations where success is not achieved. As when learning to ride a horse: first you need to learn how to fall.

Logic is the other way around

Simple logic tells us that in order to study perfectly, you need to do more, read more, spend more time studying. And as a reward - five.

If you spend a little time on study, you do not do much. Well then - hold the triple.

Is it logical? Yes, but only in real life does this logic DO NOT WORK.

Let's look at an example

Let's see the delivery of an abstract subject by two students - an excellent student and a d-league student.

Excellent student:

  • Attends all 20 lectures
  • Listens attentively at lectures (writing is not necessary. Lectures can always be rewritten)
  • Asks questions during, before and after lectures. This by the way seriously saves time. You get knowledge from who will later test you. It is very effective. The teacher sees and remembers all this.
  • Trying to honestly understand the subject.
  • With a probability of 50% you will receive a machine. That is, you will not have to prepare for the exam or take it.
  • Another 25% is the likelihood that the exam will become an empty formality. The teacher will ask 1 half-question and let you go (I have done this more than once)
  • Another 25% - the exam will be serious. You will have to solve problems, paint a theory ... But the teacher is, to put it mildly, predisposed. It is UNOBJECTIVE. You will receive half a point more than a person with a bad reputation. In addition, the teacher himself was preparing you (remember, you asked him questions).
  • You get an easy five.

  • Not steamed at the beginning of the semester (ha, he usually gives the objects of the last semester)
  • Always late with the delivery of laboratory, calculations ... His image in the eyes of the teacher falls
  • By the end of the semester, he is having an emergency. Often he doesn’t even get admission to the exam.
  • As a result, you have to take an exam after the session. It is very difficult to find a teacher. He wants to relax, and you frankly NAK him. Even if you understand the subject well, it is again UNOBJECTIVE and will put you at least half a point lower than the known. And he will scold you and humiliate you))
  • You get a tortured three at best

That is, the amount of effort is comparable. I think that in fact, the three-wayer has to spend 2 times more time and spend 20 times more nerves.

Excellent student works at a calm measured pace. His efforts are smeared throughout the semester. Teachers are smiling and friendly with him. They clap on the shoulder and shake hands.

Quartet works in rush and time pressure. He always has a fire. All his efforts are concentrated during the session. He has high blood pressure and insomnia. Teachers avoid him and frankly disdain even to say hello to him.

Student image

I would also like to say a few words about the image of the student. This is perhaps the most important component of trouble-free effective student learning.

I will tell you two story. About a positive image and about a negative.

History 1: How I Passed Theory of Probability

I never really differed in studies, but I always liked the theory of probability. She attracted me by herself, and then I wrote a number of programs that used probability calculations. And therefore, when the subject "probability theory" began at our university, I grabbed the teacher with an iron grip. I stayed after the lectures, asked him questions, was among the first to hand over all the calculation tasks.

In a word, the teacher noticed me, loved to communicate with me, appreciated me as a student.

Exam day. I come across a ticket that has nothing to do with probability theory (and the exam was combined immediately for two semesters - TheorVer and Logarithms). I didn’t solve it safely or decided it wrong - I don’t remember. I only remember that when it was my turn to “defend” my ticket, I walked as if on a scaffold.

What was my surprise when the teacher literally cast only a glance at the calculation, then he waved his hand and put down the five. And ... started a conversation about probability theory. He remembered something he forgot to tell me. We talked peacefully quietly for about 10 minutes. I got "excellent" out of the blue!

Story 2: how I took chemistry

I had an absolutely opposite image for our chemist. She knew that I:

  • I do not attend lectures
  • poorly versed in the subject

Exam day. I am preparing 4-5 tickets from fifty. There is not enough time for the rest. And - good luck! I got just a prepared ticket. I knew him from cover to cover. I UNDERSTAND IT. I figured out the topic.

Painted it from and to. Satisfied sitting - waiting for the announcement of ratings. The whole group frankly failed. 90% passed on 3 and 2. They call my last name - "FOUR". I have a slight disappointment that it’s not “five,” but against the background of the rest, I understand that everything is OK.

The teacher thinks for a second ... He calls my surname again “Rise, how, who is it at all?” I don’t remember that name. ” I get up. "Ohhhhh ... Dear, something I don’t believe that you could write it yourself at 4, I probably wrote it off." An additional example, in short. Electrolysis is my most difficult topic .... In short, how long is short - get "TWO".

What were these two stories about? About the image. The fact that teachers are ordinary people and they are very, very biased. If they remembered you on the good side, if you have only five in your grades (oh, how much they like to see grades in other subjects - although it would seem like it really matters.), Then you will learn easily and pleasantly.

Study strategy

Develop a strategy. Take care of your studies now so you don't have to get out of trouble later. In the first week, try to prove yourself well in all classes and do not devote too much time to one subject (there will be enough fours in all). Then start working on those subjects where you have the lowest grades, trying to bring performance to 95%.

  • Participate in extracurricular activities whenever the opportunity arises. This will add you points at the end of the quarter.

Find out what grade system your school has. Find out if extra points are given for extracurricular activities and classes. In some ways, ratings are a game, and the better you know the rules, the more chances you will have of success.

Shine in the first week. The first impression is very important, so try to make the teachers have a favorable opinion about you.

  • If at the beginning of the year the teacher decides that you are a polite, decent and hardworking person, he will be more favorable to you and it will be easier for you to get good grades. It is much easier to create a good impression than to fix a bad one.

Ask questions and try to answer the questions of the teacher. You may have to master the art of creating the image of a smart and trained student. It is always easier to seem smart and prepared than to be so. Try to recall any information related to the topic of the lesson. Most likely, the teacher will praise you for knowing something, and then give tips on the question that he wants to get an answer to.

Do not be afraid to ask for help or seek clarification. Ask the teacher, parents and classmates to explain to you what you did not understand. It is easier to ask a question than to find the answer to it yourself.

  • Approach the teacher before or after class. If the teacher offers counseling outside the classroom, agree. Even if it’s difficult for you to cope with the material, the teacher will appreciate your efforts and will be inclined to give you good marks.

Learn to recognize streaming verification work. To understand how everything works, you need to think like a teacher. Teachers are also people, and they are just as busy outside the school as you, if not more. Remember that each test work needs to be evaluated, and since each teacher can have hundreds of students, this is a rather time-consuming process. Check all such work carefully impossible. If you follow the recommendations given above, the teacher most likely will not read your work. Stream verification work can be recognized by two signs:

  • This is a test with answer options.
  • The teacher gives everyone the same options and spends less than a minute on checking each work.

Put things in order and begin to competently manage time. Keep your head and diary in order. Do not miss the deadlines for submission of work, as this is fraught with a decrease in grades. It will be a shame to lose points due to the fact that you did not follow the deadlines.

  • Change the approach to streaming validation. The test should take as much time as the teacher takes to test! If you have an article with questions in the text, the answers can most often be found in the text in the same order in which the questions are located. Read the question and view the text. If you need to express your opinion, do not spend a lot of time on it. Write something that sounds smart. Many students are able to cope with such tasks, but for some this is new. By learning to quickly do such a job, you can save a lot of time.

Actively outline. Ponder what the teacher is saying and write down your thoughts in your own words. If possible, use mnemonic techniques to remember.

Do your homework. Most likely, it will be easiest to get good grades for this work. This does not mean that you need to sit over notebooks until night. Try to use time at the end of lessons.

Prioritize your teacher’s grades. First, work on what he will read carefully, and try to do everything well to strengthen the confidence of the teacher. Then complete tasks that the teacher will not check so carefully, and don’t worry about the quality of work. It is important that the answer is on the topic, seemed long and detailed. If you don’t have much time to complete not very important tasks, go over them and try to do everything. Teachers love it when students do their best, and doing homework is the easiest way to get to the top five and have a good relationship with the teacher.

Know how to complete written assignments and write essays. Highlight the main tasks. Read the text of the assignment. Learn all the information you need. Sketch a plan. Draft the essay. Correct the errors and then rewrite them to the finish. If we are talking about an abstract that needs to be submitted in print, everything is simpler here - just edit the text.

  • You should not spend too much time thinking about what you want to write. Just start writing. If you also need to answer any questions on the topic, do it after writing a work (essay or essay) to save time. If the work turns out to be long, the teacher most likely reads only until the middle, so you have two options. You can write short and very good written work or long, but not very high quality (the longer the work, the more mistakes are made). Having tested one and the other option in practice, you will understand how it is more convenient for you to write certain works, and at the same time you will spend much less time.
  • Keep in mind that it is not always possible to reduce the amount of written work, especially when it comes to essay or essay. As a rule, abstracts and essays impose certain requirements on the volume of pages. If you missed something when the teacher gave the written assignment, it is better to ask again.
  • To avoid repetition, use the synonym dictionary and use different constructions in sentences.

Preparation for tests

Continue to prepare for the test only after you do your homework. Even if you are very worried about the control, think what is more important.

I was 12 years old. I was given 2 per quarter. The teacher gave me the opportunity to correct 2 by 4, but I didn’t learn the verses. They asked me 4 poems that were huge. Tomorrow, 2 per quarter they’ll put what to do. Help me. I pay and I pay.

Maria, don’t cry, please believe it’s not such a big problem! You just need to talk to the teacher again, to say that you are worried and you have stress, but you will learn and retake everything. The teacher sees from you that you didn’t intentionally not learn what you are trying, believe me, teachers see everything! And do not think, please, that the situation is hopeless! Everything will be resolved!
I, too, was an excellent pupil and the teacher one secretly from me put three to me. Then, when everything became clear, the class teacher herself personally went to her with the director and understood and, of course, they gave me a second chance! Because it is beneficial for them in school that they have kids with good grades and no one will fill up good diligent kids like you from scratch. Understand this, please.
My story ended well — I did an additional exam, I was well prepared and passed everything perfectly! I’m sure that you will succeed too! The main thing is to try to calm down and agree with the teacher.

Maria, I understand you very much. 2 is a shock. Now cry. Eat something tasty. Look at the cartoon, promise? Then - start learning poetry. Learn at least one today. Tomorrow - come again to the teacher. Tell her: “I like your subject. I want to get 4. VERY! What can I do for this? Give me one more chance, please! One verse I will tell you right now!”
Good luck, Masha!

Mashenka, of course, an unsatisfactory rating is a nuisance. But why is she needed? Probably, in order to pay attention to this particular subject, to show persistence, to learn to resist difficulties? The mark is fixable. Read, dear, a request for help, which is located under your request. That's where the sorrow is! And you will correct the mark, a quarter is not the last! Good luck to you!

I'm a high school student at school, now in

Kaaaak it is vital, serious. Before grade 5, I was also the most-correct-and-smart girl among the parallel. And it didn’t soar to me, because it was very easy for me to study. But from the 7th grade everything went downhill, I didn’t care about the grades (which by that time were not so good), my parents did not understand what had happened (although I was just tired of this constant tension). In general, at the end of the year I could not stand it and resigned as headman, which was invariably from the very beginning. And it got easier. Classmates stopped talking to me as a teacher.
Therefore, I decided to catch up, improve my grades. It was not difficult, everything was back to normal. Only slanting glances remained so far. If I get a score below 8 (I'm from Belarus, there’s a 10-point system), everyone starts whispering right away. But I'm used to it. There is no getting away from the discussion, because you have already established yourself as an excellent pupil, and the first impression cannot be changed. You just need to abstract from others at such moments. Anyway, then everyone will forget about it, and for a long time you will blame yourself for the views from the outside.
Bottom line: do not pay attention, it is unlikely that you will change anything. And about the gold medal - it’s a little silly to think that it is not needed. It will definitely not be superfluous anymore) And I don’t see the point of becoming a good-grader, if it is really hard to study, then yes. And so remain an excellent pupil at least for now, with grade 9, such a tin will begin that your status as an excellent pupil will be worshiped)

Child, do not worry now about the grades, because for the gold medal, ONLY the final grades for grades 9, 10 and 11 are taken into account. She herself was first an excellent pupil, she relaxed by the seventh grade, there were even triples in quarters. As a result, by the end of the ninth grade I was again pulled up to all fives. In the 10th grade there were 4 in mathematics, so I received a silver medal, although all five are in the certificate.

Vitally. Parents and teachers are far-fetched. Enrages to be dependent on ratings. But I usually do not get very stressed and get old with ease.

Say that nothing will change from the fours, you will continue to study well, only fours will appear. In addition, it is your life that you yourself must decide how you better learn.

I really understand you. I am an excellent student in grade 7. I got 2 triples. Out of habit, burst into tears. The whole class comforted me. I always remembered how my mother scolded me in first grade because I did not understand the topic. Now I'm afraid to tell mom, 3 triple in a year. She also scared me for 4. But now she is trying to restrain herself. Because I realized that I'm imperfect.

And I have the opposite :-(
I am in the sixth grade (already the end of the year) and for all six years I have been an excellent pupil (except for the first grade, there I work ONLY in the first quarter 4), and now, by the end of the school year, I have a little bit left in biology 4. I found out through the diary. RU. That's because the average score is 4.4. Tomorrow is the last lesson in biology and I don’t know if I can correct the score (one five for a retelling, another five for a plant) then the average score will be 4.57. And if it doesn’t work out, I don’t know what I’ll do. To be an excellent student is my main goal and I always achieved this, and now I have nothing left, it was the only thing that made me happy ... I don’t know how to put up with it ...

How did you feel when you got a four at school? If it was so painful, sad and insulting that the assessment brought you to tears, it is likely that in your school years you received not only a lot of knowledge that was not very useful in real life, but also an “excellent student syndrome” that interferes much more than the knowledge that the diagonals of a rhombus intersect at right angles.

Where does the excellent student syndrome come from?

Sometimes five and successful studies are the only way for a child to be noticed and recognized in the family. For him, good grades become a way to get a piece of attention from the most dear people, because without excellent points in the diary, no one simply notices him.

Does this mean that all excellent students in one way or another form this syndrome?
Not at all. Children who are self-confident and not dependent on the opinions of others, may well know the subject “perfectly”. But the difference between the owners of “excellent student syndrome” and healthy students is that they will not cry over a diary with a triple and beg the teacher not to put a mark in the journal and schedule a retake.

How harmful is this syndrome?

In adulthood, a student’s syndrome often transforms into low self-esteem, painful perfectionism and provokes depression. A person who has grown up with the conviction that he is recognized, loved and appreciated only when he does something better than anyone else, is very upset by setbacks, criticism, and even simply the lack of praise from significant environmental figures.

So, a housewife with an excellent student’s syndrome will feel like a worthless wife if the husband does not praise her every culinary masterpiece, the office worker will be sure that he will do his job poorly, if the boss will not constantly encourage him, encourage him, that is, put virtual “fives” ". At the same time, objective reality, that is, how well these people do their job, is not perceived by them at all. No praise means no success. They do not know how to praise themselves.

The paradox is that such people are usually very successful in their affairs, because they do not give themselves a go and demand themselves to the fullest, and those around them quickly get used to it. The first time the chef will praise the employee who stayed in the office for an hour and exceeded the norm by one and a half times, the second one too, but after a month he will begin to take it for granted and may even be unhappy if the employee leaves on time. And since the need to get your “virtual five” does not disappear anywhere, such an employee can bring himself to a nervous breakdown - after all, for the boss to continue to praise, you need to work even better, longer and more successfully! At the same time, people with excellent student syndrome are often afraid to make a mistake and prefer not to take risks at all, just not to get a “minus” to their “five”.

Often people with excellent pupil’s syndrome project their perfectionism on their surroundings - not only children, but also parents, husbands and colleagues fall under the “distribution”. And woe to those employees whose boss in childhood received the order “to return home with only fives” - he will sincerely be convinced that the work can either not be done at all, or done perfectly. What other illness, childbirth, vacation? Well, sat down at the computer - and wrote a report, so what, now that it’s three in the morning, I don’t know anything!

Since the mood and mental state of the “excellent student” is almost entirely dependent on the assessment that his environment gives him, he resembles a computer without a battery - as long as there is electricity, everything works, but only a failure occurs - the computer immediately turns off.

Even if the “excellent student” is lucky, and he finds a couple who will constantly praise him, and get a job where everyone appreciates him and cannot live without him, at some point the chain will still collapse when someone forgets say what a good fellow Vasya.

What to do if your child already has this complex?

If the child himself seeks to demonstrate his success - “look, mom, I have two fives today” - try to avoid praise for the high score anyway. “You are so diligent, I saw how you studied the poem for three hours yesterday, it’s great that the literature teacher appreciated it too!” - praise the child himself, his hard work, diligence and diligence, and not the number in the diary.

Your task is to make your child understand that grades are not the main thing in life.

“What about entering the institute?” Parents immediately object. - “He’s grabbing the twos now, and then I’ll dissipate him, push him into a paid university!” That it’s worth loosening control - and the child will peddle, start skipping classes, not doing homework, write off to the control and go down “below the plinth” "Is a common myth. In fact, if a student feels that his parents trust him and do not seek to take responsibility for his homework, he takes it upon himself. Perhaps his “natural” level of claims will not be enough for a diary full of fives, but he will grow into a harmonious, self-confident and self-confident person. It is these who usually succeed in life.

Look around - are all those who occupy important posts, get a good salary, achieve success in their careers and personal lives - gold medalists and holders of honors? As practice shows, in real life the three-thirds become much more successful, who do not live for the sake of getting approval from somewhere outside, but know how to encourage and motivate themselves.

And, by the way, the lack of control does not mean the abundance of triples in the diary.

What to do with your excellent student syndrome?

At such moments, a critical parent "comes to life" in you - the same one that was copied from your own mom and dad. And you start screaming, accusing your son or daughter of carelessness and even, sometimes, stupidity. But remember that the inner parent has another part - caring. Which, instead of the phrase “I knew that you were an ignoramus,” might ask: “Was the dictation difficult, probably?” A caring parent does not irony, he sincerely empathizes with a close person who is very upset that he is almost crying. He knows that assessment does not always show real knowledge, and that not all people have the same skills given equally easily.

The good news is that you can cultivate a caring parent. The next time you want to criticize someone, shame or explain what and how to do it, stop and imagine for a second, but what would a caring parent do, who always seeks to help and support? And try, if only for the sake of diversity, to behave this way.

By the way, this works just as well for those who have excellent student syndrome who do not yet have children. Start by often “turning on” a caring parent for yourself. Ask yourself: “How am I feeling? What do I want now? Is it so important to arrange spring cleaning at three in the morning, when at six already get up for work? ”

You can defeat perfectionism, which is often “hatched” from an excellent pupil’s syndrome, only by training. Do something not perfect, you’ll see that no one will love you less than that.

How to prevent the appearance of excellent student syndrome?

Thomas Edison, the inventor of the incandescent lamp, had only four education classes, and in his old age he liked to repeat: “Do you really think that I would be able to invent something if I went to school?” Albert Einstein barely graduated from a higher technical school in Zurich. And Bill Gates was expelled from Harvard for poor performance and absenteeism, because the bar he was attracted much less than chips and technology. Think about what the modern world would be like if all these people had “excellent student syndrome”?

First step

Do not rush to immediately buy the installation. The acquisition of new drums and a minimum set of cymbals of the most entry-level level will facilitate your wallet by at least 50 thousand rubles. And the upper limit of the cost simply does not exist. (For professionals, one drum can cost so much). This is absolutely unnecessary.

To begin with, according to Nikita, a pad is enough for your eyes - a pancake made of thick rubber, imitating a rebound of a real drum, but costing significantly cheaper (from 700 to 2000 rubles), a pair of sticks and a metronome. You can download the latter for free in any application store on your smartphone.

Second step

Sticks for starters fit the most ordinary, wooden, size 5A. (Just remember this combination and with the look of a professional, ask for it from the seller). These sticks are universal. But, since sticks of the same format from different manufacturers may vary slightly, ask them to give you a few pairs for testing and stop at those that will most comfortably fall into your hands.

For training at home, one pair is enough, and for regular rehearsals it is reasonable to stock up several at once, since the sticks will inevitably die, paving the way for glory.

Our consultant assures that the best sticks are made by Pro-Mark, Vater and Vic Firth. The price for a pair of size 5A from these manufacturers is in the range of 500-1000 rubles. But, firstly, such sticks will last significantly longer than nameless crafts made from an unknown tree, and secondly, your soul will be warmed up by the fact that eminent drummers play exactly the same sticks on the professional stage.

Third step

Learn to play under the metronome! At first, only with your hands, slowly, so that the metronome does not annoy you, but makes you shake your head enthusiastically to the beat. Nikita recommends starting at low speeds: 60 beats per minute, in the simplest size - four quarters. First, one click - one hit with one hand, then try to make two hits on one click, and so on, gradually adding speed.

After you literally and figuratively get your hands together, connect your legs. Ideally, for this it is worth buying a pad for your legs (it’s a little more expensive, about 3 thousand) and a simple single pedal (you can keep it in 4 thousand) and start training, using all parts of the body already. At first it will not be easy, but if you do not make friends with the metronome, then they definitely won’t take you to Metallica (do we still remember why this was all about?).

Fourth step

Video schools and training videos on the Internet are really useful (especially, as our consultant claims, these are: Jojo Mayer - Secret weapons of modern drummer (you can download), Derek Roddy - Playing with your drums (download here), video from the Modern Drummer festival years (e.g.), and they also have their own YouTube channel).

Do not immediately plunge headlong into rudiments, paradids, shuffles and other foreign terms. To get started, learn the correct setting of hands, rebound, landing and other basic skills (for example, a good video, and in general a channel to start with):

Nikita convinced us that you should do drums as tightly as you do in the gym. (You go to the gym, right? Otherwise, what kind of drummer are you?) At least three times a week for an hour.

Sixth step

If you manage to engage with a mentor - this is a plus. But it’s important that the mentor teaches you in the framework of the music you are eager to play (you can go to classes in a Metallica T-shirt if he doesn’t understand the hints), otherwise all your emotional impulses can be stifled by the boring rhythms of the foreign pop music of the 90s, 80s, 70s (well, or to whom you get there) years.

Seventh step

Before applying for a visa to the United States, try playing with a group. Let them suit you as sons and rehearse in your own garage without your knowledge (at the same time you will find out about it), this will give you a useful skill of working in a team, the ability to listen, hear and interact with other musicians.

Eighth step

Remember we mentioned the gym? This is no accident. If the prospect of lugging heavy cases with plates, pedals, racks and other good things, while others carry just a guitar and a suitcase with pedals, you are terrified, either squat harder, or throw this article away and erase your memory. After all, before you have your own team of technicians and trucks with equipment, you will carry everything on yourself.

The minimum gentlemanly set of drummers from a set of cymbals, a snare drum and a pedal will pull all twenty kilograms, making it impossible for you to actively gesticulate, proving that the rest of the band is obliged to help you. Paid rehearsal points, as a rule, provide installation in the minimum configuration, and for the rental of additional elements greedily require additional funds, so in any case, stock up on forces.

Ninth step

And the simplest rule: listen and try to repeat good music and favorite songs, watch videos of your idols. Good luck

Drum - the oldest tool. When people were still running in the skins of animals with spears at the ready, and living in caves, percussion instruments already existed that made it possible to depict rhythms and communicate with each other.

In the modern world, the drum has not lost its significance, and is one of the most popular musical instruments. It is not surprising, because in almost all genres of music there is a drum part.

Have you beat rhythms on any sounding surface since childhood? Always bewitched by the ability of the rhythm to make you swing to the beat? Would you like to realize your old dream of becoming a musician, but are afraid of musical notation? Or are you still not sure if you need it? Then our article is for you.

Why exactly the drummer?

No need to learn music. The main thing is to feel the rhythm, and coordination can be gained through exercises.

You are the main one in the group because you set the pace for the whole song. No one will start playing until you count 4 times with your chopsticks.

There are few good drummers, and therefore you are ensured employment in the group.

Girls love drummers. Of course, a little less than the vocalists, but much more than the bass players. Untied drummers move the most and attract attention.

Constant mobility during the game and dragging heavy plates to rehearsals and back will make you strong and hardy.
