The old Russian folk game “Forged Chains” is always fun and a bit exuberant. You can play it with children from 5 years and older - up to teenagers. To play, you need quite a lot of people - at least 10 people. Better to play outdoors, but you can also in a spacious room. For example, in the gym or in recreation at the break. The Russian folk game “Chains” will revive any folk festival. It does not require any equipment, and its rules are very simple.
The rules of the old Russian folk game "Forged Chains"
Before you start playing, you need to split into two teams. To do this, you can use folk draws or just invite the guys to arbitrarily break into two groups.
The teams join hands and stand in two lines opposite each other. Then they conduct such a dialogue:
- Vanya! (Call any member of the opposing team.)
Vanya runs up and, striking with the full weight of his body, tries to break the line of another team.
If he succeeds, then he will lead two players to his team on whom the “chain has broken”. If the attempt was unsuccessful, then Vanya himself joins an alien team.
The next time the dialogue starts, the winning team.
The game ends when all participants are in the same team. Or until you get bored.
This Russian game is similar to the old Boyar game, but as if in a lightweight version, without long texts, which makes it more dynamic.
