Imagine that you want to hide the image on a slide until the right moment comes. The trigger allows you to adjust the image so that it appears only when you click on a specific shape.
Add the desired image to the slide, Insert -> Shapes. Select a shape that will serve as a kind of “button” for the image to appear.
Right click on the shape -> Edit Text. Write on the figure, something like “Button”.
Select Image -> tab Animation -> in Group Animation -> Scaling.
For MS PowerPoint 2010 and 2013: Animation -> Trigger -> On Click ->Choose the form "I».
For MS PowerPoint 2007: Animation -> Animation area -> Right click on the animation -> Time -> Switches -> Start the effect when you click -> Select the form “I"-> OK.
Without removing the selection from the picture, click on the command Trigger-> By Click -> Select the button shape.
Shift + F5. As you can see, the image is not displayed on the slide when displayed. To make it appear on the slide, click on "I". Voila!
