According to Mashable, artist Emily Seilhamer met her husband thanks to his favorite Starburst sweets, which he treated her to. The American asked her lover to leave wrappers for sweets to her and after a while a woman had a bag of colored paper.
According to Salehamer, creating a dress was not a difficult process, but it took a long time. She straightened each wrapper with an iron and fastened them with elastic thread. She also had to change the outfit design several times due to the fact that Starburst stopped producing candy wrappers of several colors, which she used.
